got back at 3 am last night from an epic bday camping/hiking trip in yosemite. its no exaggeration to say the hikes, panoramic views, waterfalls, and magical beauties (unreal but real) of the place are life-changing. my birthday present to myself this year is to stop using phrases like “im scared” and “im bored” and do all the things ive been thinking of and waiting for. ive already felt transformed, joyful, and fit over the past couple months living a quiet, simple, and active life. loads of reading, running, backpacking and camping to come this summer!
